Welcome To Our Cottage

Due to the fact that we’ve had nothing but sunshine and warm weather the last two weeks I have not been too productive in my cave. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it 😉   A friend asked me to help her make a garden stake for her backyard. While I was cutting out some leaves for her I cut some for myself too.  When I started painting them I decided to make the stake for a cottage rather than a backyard.  Had I known that when I was cutting the wood I would have cut fish rather than leaves.  O’ well, another project for another day.

I spent some time giving my favourite bird feeder a makeover.  I get cardinals, blue jays, yellow birds, blue birds and lots more at this feeder.  It’s quite entertaining. I love before and afters!   This isn’t the 1st time I’ve repainted this feeder but I think it will have to be the last.  It’s starting to get rust holes in it but for now it looks good for another year. Amazing what a fresh coat of paint does.

Did I mention squirrels!?

I cut and painted a few more wooden blocks that I will add to my Etsy shop.

And that is a wrap for May.  Check back soon for made in June.

Anyway 😉
